Hayfield Manor also has special offers for Valentine's Day. Relax in one of their amazing suites and enjoy a lovely dinner in the restaurant.Offers include a one night stay or 2 night stay. Call 021 484 5900 for more details

Jacques Restaurant - not sure if they have a special Valentine's offer but worth a visit nevertheless. Brilliant cooking, a relaxed atmosphere and a great wine list. You can be assured to enjoy the food. Call 021 4277387 for more details

Les Gourmandises opened again after refurbishment (just in time for Valentine's) and if past experience is anything to go by, the food is worth a visit. I haven't been there since they re-opened, so can't tell you how it looks. Call 021 4251959 for details

Star Anise is a long established restaurant with a faithful following. The food is amazing, the atmosphere relaxed and it is just around the corner from The Everyman - so ideal if you want an early bird before taking your other half to the theater. Call 021 4551635

And if you are sick and tired of all the loved up stuff - head to Fenn's Quay tonight for the Anti Valentine's Dinner.
